NEWS DESK- the Co-Presidency of Kurdistan Communities Union stated that it is high time we stop talking and get down to resistance and revolt on those threatening the Kurdish existence.
The Co-Presidency of Kurdistan Communities Union has released a statement to the public about the coup d’état Democratic Peoples Party(HDP) has been subjected to in Bakur Kurdistan-Turkey and AKP detention of HDP parliamentarians.
A new level of comprehensive attack
The Co-Presidency stated in the statement” the authoritative fascism of AKP has detained MPs of HDP on top of them are co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ, this act is the last episode of AKP plans aiming to obliterate the Kurdish identity and resistance, as total war attacks have begun in July 2015 and have reached now a new phase. AKP detention of HDP MPs is an explicit attempt to defeat the Kurds will, and it is simultaneously a clear rejection of recognizing Kurds’ existence and the beginning of the genocide policies against Kurdish people”.
The decision of detaining HDP MPs has already been made, they however awaited the right moment, as the detention was discussed by the fascists Erdogan and Devlet Bahçeli, chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), where the former received a carte blanche from MHP to support it and have united on embracing the same policy.
This detention is carried out in the 14 anniversary of AKP taking hold of power, and aspiring to build its own hegemonic authoritative regime, its major concern is eliminating Kurds. The attacks of AKP on Kurds and democratic powers is not but an attempt to remove obstacles hindering the construction of the fascist regime AKP aspiring to, so it resorted to escalating its offensives and are clearly proceeding with, now the sole way to stop these attacks is Kurds resistance and joint resistance of democratic powers.
Talking time is over
This attack is controlled from a single center; Turkish media is circulating the motto’’ Terror Campaign against HDP”, this center has also appointed all headlines to be used in media after these detentions, and the kind of private war launched against Kurds to give credibility to them, and will finally turn to imposing crackdown on revolutionary powers. Time for talking is over, unless Kurds and democratic powers revolt on this situation, the ruling regime would not be able to implement its genocide policy against Kurds”.
Kurds in Başûr, Rojava, Rojhilat and everywhere must revolt
Not only genocide campaigns carried out in Bakur Kurdistan target Kurds there, but also Kurds in Başûr, Rojava, Rojhilat and everywhere, the Kurdish parties must agree on a joint attitude, and call Kurdish people to revolt in the face of these ferocious attacks, any parties remaining silent about these violations will be directly conspiring with Kurds enemies.
It is high time we resist and struggle
AKP and MHP are resisting democratization of Turkey, democratic powers repelling these attacks, democracy will prevail in Turkey and a peaceful settlement of the Kurdish issue will be reached. So we call all democratic, humanitarian, and progressive powers to confront the authoritative AKP, and struggle to fail these attacks.
Diyarbakir people everywhere, women and Kurds must revolt and prove that AKP policies would not undermine the Kurds will, today is the day of resistance and revolution against those who attempt to eliminate Kurds existence.
